Our Central California location gives us the flexibility to perform throughout the state. Being in a fuel-driven industry puts some limitations on our ability to compete in certain areas due to the remoteness of the worksites.

We typically perform work as a subcontractor working for a prime contractor on major highways.
MUNICIPALITIES
We provide striping and related services on large scale municipal roadway expansion projects.
NATIONAL PARKS
We have completed numerous projects for the National Parks, putting us on some of California’s most scenic highways.
MILITARY BASES
The U.S. Military counts on us to perform work that delivers optimum safety for personnel and equipment.

OUR TRADE ASSOCIATION PARTICIPATION
The American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA)
is a national organization made up of contractors, manufacturers, and others involved in the traffic safety industry. We are most active with this organization, and like so many other ATSSA contractors and suppliers take its slogan, “Towards Zero Deaths” very seriously. We donate significant time and resources to the association in an ongoing effort to provide safer roadways and work zones nationwide.
David Preston is a past California Chapter president and a current member of ATSSA’s National Board of Directors.
American Traffic Safety Services Foundation (ATSSF).
The organization provides scholarships to children of persons severely injured or killed in work zone accidents. We are members.
Associated General Contractors (AGC)
The AGC represents all construction trades (prime and subcontractors).
David is a member of the San Joaquin Chapter Board of Directors and serves as Chairman of the Northern California Parking and Highway Union Contractors Committee (Craft Committee). He is also a member of the Southern California Craft Committee.

UNION AFFILIATION
Safety Striping is a union contractor signatory to the Laborer’s Unions of Northern and Southern California.
Subcontractors that provide services to California’s prime contractors must be affiliated with the appropriate unions.
David Preston is a trustee and committee member for the Joint Apprenticeship Committee and Apprenticeship Trust for the Stripers, Road Slurry, Sealcoat and Highway Maintenance trades in Southern California.
